The Texas Ag Forum is as an association of agricultural leaders and representatives from across the Texas food and fiber system. It was founded over twenty years ago to provide a forum for open and public discussion of the problems and emerging issues in agriculture. It is a stakeholder-driven program in partnership with Texas AgriLife Extension.
The Texas Ag Forum does not advocate public policy positions for itself or its members. Its programs and meetings are intended to educate the public on key issues affecting Texas agriculture and to provide an open and objective discussion. Texas Ag Forum programs are open to anyone interested in agriculture.
Texas Ag Forum programs are organized by its steering committee. The membership, which represents the diversity of Texas agriculture, includes representatives from commodity and farm groups, partner organizations, and other interested individuals.
